Many people think that being a beauty queen and participating in pageants is very... well... old school and that the photography is boring! But I tell you - when I photographed Erica Bachelor, Miss West Broward USA, I was surprised to find that she wanted to do different things, exciting things. Nothing boring on this menu. We incorporated some of her ideas and her vision into the images and, if I may say so myself, there is only one way to describe them - STUNNING!
The one old school thing I really loved about Erica, was the bearing of gifts - I'd never met her and there she was, standing at my door with the largest fruit gift basket I'd ever seen? FOR ME :) Thanks Erica!
Erica will go onto compete at the Miss Florida USA pageant from Tues July 6th with the preliminary pageant being held Friday July 9th at 7pm at Broward Community College Bailey Hall in Davie, FL. The LIVE telecast of Miss FL USA will be Sat July 10 at 7 PM check local listing. The winner will go on to compete for the title of Miss USA in 2011.
